Aloha, my name is Presley and I'm your reporter for today. Well, let's just say that the weather was very hot and it looked more like a day to sit back and relax than to fish. So that's what some of our fishermen did. Some were sitting and some were having what those singers call a jam session. But the ones who were fishing did a good job as Sheadon, Bobby, Joe and myself caught some mighty fine salmon.

This is Walker reporting on the hike on Wednesday. In the mountains near Hope we were driven by staff to a park called Palmer Creek. From there we started our hike. The whole hike was on a dirt road. The whole day was virtually sunny with few clouds. Pretty much the whole hike we were near a small river that seemed like it was made by the snow in the mountains but i'm not sure about that. Covering the edge of the road were many purple, red and yellow flowers. At the half-way point of the hike we all had ourselves a snowball fight. Ben took a picture of everyone in the middle of throwing snowballs at him. The scenery was beautiful with views from small hills that showed the whole mountain valley.
