WUH UP! I'm an upcoming junior from East High School. I am really happy that I joined this program because it really helps me with my reading and writing. I also like it because they take us out all the time to far places that are fun to be at. Now lets talk about MMEE!

My name is Presley Hamo-Tyson Nu'umai Piliati and I was born september 8th 1995, in Honolulu, Oahu in Kalihi and was raised in Waianae. I'm Samoan and I also eat like one :) I came to Alaska because my family was all moving here and because it was better for us. TBH I really miss Hawaii, but it is what it is. I've never been to a cold place like this, so I still have to get used to the weather over here. I don't like Alaska because there's no ocean to swim in when it is hot, there are only cold, rushing rivers and cold lakes. Well, I guess I'm done talking about myself so aighty I'm out ;) ISLAND BOII chheeepono!

This is one of my poems I wrote as we were on the top of a mountain.


The fresh summer breeze

awakes the birds and bumblebees

I'm on the mountain up so high

as I watch the world live as planes go by

the scene up here never gets boring

as I spread my arms and dream of soaring

but now we have to leave the summer breeze, bumblebees and soft grass

and think about the hiking adventure back in class.
